Watch-Movies Online for Free Scam
72Watch Streaming Movies Online for Free?
Is it possible to watch movies online for free? Can I stream movies using the connection I have? What does this mean, streaming movies?
First off, let’s cover the basics. The connection speed or bandwidth
that most people have today is more than sufficient for either
downloading movies or streaming movies. If you have either DSL or cable
internet, you definitely have enough bandwidth to view the films.
Internet connection speed is increasing all the time and with that
increase in speed comes increased availability of information, in this
case access to movies. Watching movies online is simply going to get
easier and faster as the technology improves.
Streaming video is the act of watching a video or movie while it is actively downloading. In most cases, a streaming video file remains on the webserver and is not actually transferred to your computer. This is the biggest difference between streaming movies and downloaded movies. When you watch movies online on Youtube, that is an example of streaming video. When you watch a tv show on Fox, also streaming video. When you download a .mpg file from a website, and it must complete downloading before you can watch it, then that is a downloaded video or downloaded movie.
But Can I Watch Movies Online For Free?
Now the biggest question, can you do it for free? Watching movies online is becoming a popular method of viewing movies. The more prevalent the viewing becomes, the more options you will have for watching them. There are a number of sites that currently offer you the ability to watch movies online for free.
Below I'm going to review two sites that I found by searching for the term "watch movies online for free"
The first site appears to offer the ability to watch all kinds of movies online, including movies that are still out in theaters.
Here is a copy of their disclaimer:
"{site name removed} (Titled as Watch Movies and Watch Movies online) is absolutely legal and contain only comments, reviews, and discussions of movies. We do not provide links to copyrighted material, we do not host any copyrighed material, and we do not link to any sites that link to or host copyrighted material. {site name removed} list popular movies, new movies, and just released movies merely for reviews and discussions. Watch movies link to sponsor and advertisers where users can watch movies where these sponsors and advertisers have licensed to provide streaming to their paid/trial members. Our current sponsors are and not limited to ireel.com, flixstra.com, graboid.com, and pinballpublishernetwork.com. watch-movies.net is not responsible for the accuracy, compliance, copyright, legality, decency, or any other aspect of the content of other linked sites. If you have any legal issues please contact appropriate media file owners / hosters."
Do you see any value in what they are actually offering?
The second site appears to have a comprehensive list of all the most current and popular movies available for EITHER streaming or download.
So you choose a movie that you have been wanting to watch and when you finally get to the point where you are about to watch the movie, you are taken to a popup screen that says:
(Your Movie) is ready to watch. Please check out at least one of our free offers, we have found the best ones for our viewers, just enter your email address to get started and if you dont like the offer, thats ok too, You can still enjoy your movie.
What this means is that each time you click on a movie to watch you’ll need to enter an email address and spend time filling out a survey.
I tried to fill out the surveys, but once you start filling out the survey it takes you to another, and then another, it appears to go on a never ending loop of survey after survey.
After I gave up on filling out the surveys, I went back to the site and it appeared I was going to be able to watch the movie online after all! As surprised as I was I went ahead and hit play. I was then redirected several times to a site that wanted me to download an xvid codec. I knew that this was sketchy at best since I have xvid codecs installed. I then saw that the source for their suggested download started with shopperreports... This appears to be an attempt to trick people into downloading software that either tracks internet browsing usage or harvests email addresses, or potentially has even worse intentions.
In neither case was I actually able to even start watching a movie online. Sadly there are a lot of people out there who are just looking to take advantage of people. Please save yourself some time and do not go to these websites. I have not linked to them because honestly they are a waste of time. As far as I can tell, there are two ways to watch movies online. One way is free, and illegal and involves downloading movies from peer sharing sites. The other way costs money, but is legal. When it comes to watching movies online, using a paid site can often save you an enormous amount of time.

Interesting and good article,
As one who is always researching how to save money, FREE is rarely FREE. But there is the next best thing to FREE, and it is where you can access unlimited movies for FREE with just a little effort as a FREE affiliate.
With NetFlix the gorilla in industry having knocked off BlockBuster which got busted with higher overhead due to the retail model they were too slow to change from, so lower cost always wins, and this means lower overhead for company first and foremost.
Then RedBox put final nail in bankruptcy coffin of BlockBuster, so NetFlix and RedBox are exploding driven on lower prices. When NetFlix raised prices 60% last year, they lost over 800,000 subscibers, yet still grew almost 50% over previous year, amazing. Then RedBox raised its prices, but we do not know how much this will impact their total sales yet. Should be interesting.
Back to saving money, and why so many people respond to FREE, no one wants to pay more than they have to, so here is the real solution, why rent from BlockBuster, NetFlix and RedBox when you can rent from your own business. Now you can with Free-FlixsNow.com affiliate program. Free to register, and best of all, unlimited movies is a new flat rate of $2.08 per month, or $25.00 pr year.
Everyone rents movies, and with others charging $8.00 to $10.00 per month or more depending on options like Blu-Ray, you could save hundreds with Free-FlixsNow.com plus actually Get Paid To Watch Movies with a little passive effort promoting through word of mouth or with social media, blogs, etc. With the movie rental industry a recession proof and growing industry, and everyone wanting to save money, this is a no brainer.
